Pricing

Pay per check. Pay nothing for a check that finds nothing.

One price for the permissionless path, paid with the same wallet your agent already holds. Platform plans are priced on the receipts you issue and the records you keep, because that is what you come back for.

Per check

$0.003 USDC

Per qualifying hosted check.
No subscription. No account.

A qualifying check is one that finds a live, payable offer that meets your rules and returns the selected terms, with a signed receipt when you ask for require_route_binding. Completed no-match checks are free: live: false with a typed reason costs nothing and settles nothing.

A hosted session open costs $0.005 USDC and reuses one observation for 20 hops or 10 minutes. Hops inside that window do not charge another 402Signal fee and do not call a facilitator. Supported session continuation does not buy another observation for every call.

Catalog search, listed-endpoint validation, the endpoint pages, the offline buyer checks and receipt verification carry no 402Signal fee.

Paid on Base, Solana or Algorand MainNet over x402, from the wallet that will pay the seller. Billing states and uncertain outcomes · Supported profiles and release status

Platforms and wallet operators

Priced on receipts and records, not on checks.

If you embed the check in a client, an agent runtime or a wallet, the per-check fee is the on-ramp and the plan covers what a platform needs afterwards: receipts issued per month, a retention window for the records behind them, export, and change alerts on the sellers your customers depend on.

Evaluate first

Credits for trying, keys for capacity.

Check credits

An operator-issued credit sent as X-402Signal-Trial. Runs checks against listed endpoints without a funded wallet: 5 checks over 48 hours by default, up to 1,000 over 30 days on request.

Ask for credits

Admission key

A customer key sent as X-402Signal-Key. It carries agreed ingress and unpaid capacity, and it is what lets you subscribe to change alerts. It is a workload identity, never a wallet key.

Ask for a key

Your own balance

GET /keys/usage with either header returns the remaining credits, the ceiling and the expiry, or whether the key is recognized and the capacity it carries. It answers only for the credentials you present.

Read the contract

Wallet-free sample

The unpaid readiness check runs the real observation against a catalog-listed endpoint and shows the current answer. Nothing is charged.

What the fee is and is not

One fee, clearly bounded.

  • Seller charges, deposits, network fees and rent are separate from the checking fee and are paid by your wallet to the seller directly.
  • A later buyer refusal does not reverse an already-settled check. A qualifying offer is not a guarantee of delivery or output quality.
  • If a settlement ends in an unknown state, never reuse that authorization; use the read-only recovery contract and reconcile.
  • Nothing a seller pays for changes the public endpoint data. Alerts and readiness pages read the same observations for everyone.
